Alarm Monitoring
Safecom offer all levels of monitoring systems, starting from basic ‘dialler’ monitoring, which communicates via your telephone line. GPRS monitoring, which communicates via the mobile phone network; and internet monitoring, which is dependent on the consistency of your internet connection.
You can feel at ease while away from your home or business, knowing your security system is monitored by our local 24/7 monitoring centre.
Following an alarm activation or system fault, an experienced operator will contact either yourself or your nominated contacts, verify the activation, and contact emergency response if required. Commercial businesses with regular hours have the option of our monitoring centre supervising the times staff come and go from your place of business. This ensures your alarm system is always switched on by your nominated time, or any entries outside these times, are challenged with the person on site.
We believe we have the best monitoring rates, with no unreasonable lock in contracts. Our 24/7 monitoring centre is rated A1, the highest rating possible within Australia’s security monitoring grading system.
Safecom’s GPRS Monitoring System
We believe our wireless monitoring system is the most efficient and feature packed monitoring system on the market. There are no phone call costs, or phone cables that can be tampered with, to disable this type of alarm monitoring. Our system communicates all alarm activity via the Telstra and Optus wireless network. Communication time is much faster than dialler monitoring, and there are no hidden communication fees, such as dialler monitoring 1300 call costs.
Unlike other GPRS systems, our system is more than an alarm communicator, offering a range of features, once you install the free app on your Apple or Android smartphone. There is no limit to the amount of devices the app can be loaded to.
The most popular feature is the one touch panic alarm. When activated, it reports an immediate alarm with your geo-location to our monitoring centre.
Other app features include:
- Arming and disarming the alarm system
- Reading the alarm system’s history
- Controlling devices such as turning on/off devices i.e., lighting, pumps, opening/closing gates and or roller doors)
The capabilities are endless.
